Your Shop Questions, Answered

When you place a preorder, you’re reserving a piece that will be handcrafted especially for you. Unlike mass-produced products, every item is individually made in my Texas studio using traditional ceramic techniques.
Your pottery will be hand-built, dried, bisque fired, glazed, glaze fired, inspected, and carefully packaged before shipping.
-
Most preorders ship within 3–5 weeks from the date your order is placed.
This timeline allows for the complete ceramic-making process, which cannot be rushed without risking damage to the piece.
During holiday seasons or periods of high demand, production may take up to 6 weeks. If I anticipate a longer delay, I’ll let you know as soon as possible.
-
Every piece goes through multiple stages before it’s ready for your home:
Hand-built by me
Slowly air dried
Bisque fired
Hand glazed
Final glaze firing
Quality inspection
Carefully packaged
Each step takes time to ensure your pottery is durable, functional, and made to last.

No—and that’s part of what makes handmade pottery special.
Every piece is individually crafted by hand, so slight variations in shape, glaze movement, color, and painted details are natural and make each item one of a kind.
The overall design, style, and quality will closely resemble the photos, but no two pieces are ever identical.
-
Ceramics can be unpredictable. Occasionally a piece may crack, warp, or develop a glaze flaw during firing.
If a piece doesn’t meet my quality standards, I will remake it before shipping. While this may add a little extra time to your order, I want you to receive a piece I’ll be proud to send and you’ll be excited to own.
-
Ready-to-ship orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days.
Preorder items are typically completed and shipped within 3–5 weeks, although production may take up to 6 weeks during high-demand periods or when a piece must be remade.
You’ll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. Delivery time after shipment depends on the carrier and destination.
-
To help keep shipping costs reasonable, orders containing both ready-to-ship and preorder items normally ship together when the preorder item is complete.
If you would like the ready-to-ship portion sent separately, please contact me before ordering. Additional shipping charges may apply.
-
Preorders may be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund.
Once production has begun, cancellations generally cannot be accepted because materials and studio time have already been committed to your order.
-
If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the damaged item, the internal packaging, and the shipping box.
Please keep the damaged item and all original packaging until the issue is resolved. I’ll work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
